An Ikila (ee-kqua) is an African spear of the Zulu tribe that was shortened to its CQB size from its original throwing spear size by its originator, king Zulu, because he believed it to be cowardice to throw your spear at a distance when you can stab your enemy up close instead. He named it after the sound it makes when the blade goes into flesh and comes back out. It is noted to make a decent slashing and hacking weapon just like a sword do to how large the original blade was. (only the handle was shortened)
