Big Assassins Creed fan. BUT, kind of getting tired playing Ezio. I want to play as Desmond as an Assassin already. No more machine... So, I was thinking, what would he look like in assassins gear from 2012? I don't think he would wear a hoody and jeans, unless he was walking around incognito. But if he was on a mission, I would hope his assassins gear would be as cool as this. Enjoy!
************************************************** So- I've been getting some comments about this style of clothing- vs. his hoody and jeans apparel from the actual game. Let me clarify the intentions of this drawing, so I don't have to repeat it to everyone who brings up why he wears a hoody and jeans. When a swat member/FBI/special forces team goes into a tactical situation, they wear clothes that serve two purposes- protection and visual recognition. I felt that the hoody and jeans apparel works for blending in to situations where the assassin needs to blend in to everyday surroundings. The difference between then and now- people can't carry swords and wear armor. Ezio and Altair lived in a era where that was accepted. So I felt that Desmond needed a TACTICAL outfit, one he would wear on a mission were it would be appropriate. A TACTICAL mission; one where jeans and a hoody seemed... well, just plain dumb and ill-prepared.
Hey if Ezio and Altair and the other assassins could blend in with a crowd just by stepping in no matter what they're wearing...why can't Desmond? I would like that as an assassin he wears a uniform like this, because then it makes it clear that he's a born assassin and not an apprentice like the others. The assassins don't kill their targets in the dark, they do it publicly so that they would be able to instill fear in their enemies, so it's important that Desmond wear at least a modified version of their costume to carry on that tradition. I really love the way you drew his chest guard thing. It's intricate but not over-the-top decorated, (like Ezio's was in danger of being ) who wants to bet he has like two samurai swords and a bazuka in his inside pockets? xP

...He's adopted. Tick tock, goes the clock, even for the Doctor. How was the fun vehicle? No chick flick moments.
